The science.ca website is run by the GCS Research Society, a non-profit society registered in British Columbia. Canadian science is constantly changing with new discoveries and new scientists so the maintenance of the site is an ongoing project that takes money. Much of the work is done by volunteers but major content and design progress has always come from cash grants and donations from governments, societies and foundations. Almost all the work has been done by students. Our sponsors over the years (since 1994) are listed at the right. If you represent a corporation, society, foundation, or government agency and you wish to support the science.ca project, please contact us.
Individuals can click the grey "Make Donation" button at the bottom of this page to donate money by joining the GCS Research Society. The annual dues are $20/yr. Members may receive periodical email newsletters and an annual report if desired.
