Q:We're doing a study on future transportation at school, KTH in Sweden, and we are really having a hard time finding any information about people transportation (trains, cars) and goods transportation (boats, trucks). We would be very glad if you could help us in our quest for information.

You could go to www.google.com and type in "zero emission vehicles". Future trends point to vehicles with no harmful exhaust. For instance, I found this UK site on Zero emission vehicles right away.
Simply typing "future transportation" into google also yields a lot of good stuff such as the US Office of Transportation Technologies. Perhaps you just need to look a bit harder. Google is amazing.
