Engineering question #2495

Paul Paura, a 30 year old M from Mississauga asks on January 18, 2005

Q:how will Hydrogen work as an Assist Gas for Diesel Trucks (Transportation Industry). After doing much research over the last 12 months, I found that not all H2 producing units are effective on Transport truck engines. Either some have results immediately or no results at all. A few questions: r Do you have any experience in this arena of diesel truck engines? r If so, what are your results? r Do you need to modify the EMU (engine management unit = engine computer) on the diesel engines? r IF so, how would you modify the EMU? r Are the no results do to “waste gate technology” on certain engines? Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Kindest regards, Paul Paura 905 929 3122 www.hy-drive.com
